Arisprop Capital Bhd. is now making new history with the opening of the first branch of the kopitiam concept restaurant, The Makan Shoppe, located at the 168 Selayang Shopping Centre, through Aris Burger Sdn. Bhd.
I am sure that many of you have heard about Aris Burger.
I was so honoured to attend the launching of The Makan Shoppe, held at their outlet in 168 Selayang Shopping Centre.
The Makan Shoppe highlights the concept of “From the Street to Restaurant”, allowing Malaysians to enjoy the uniqueness of local food in a comfortable atmosphere.
This Muslim-owned restaurant is not just an ordinary restaurant. It is also a symbolise the uniqueness and heritage of Malaysian food.
With the tagline 'Malaysia Street Food and More! Come LAH!', this restaurant offers an unforgettable experience through its special menu.

Arisprop Capital Bhd Executive Chairman, Dato' Haji Haris Embong commented that after being involved in the agri-food and frozen food business and industry for so long, it was time to move towards opening a restaurant.
"Along with the opening of this first branch, The Makan Shoppe has also received invitations to open new branches from leading supermarkets in various strategic locations nationwide," he said after the opening ceremony of The Makan Shoppe at the 168 Selayang Shopping Centre.
Dato' Haji Haris Embong said, The Makan Shoppe is also expected to open several new branches in the near future including in AEON Supermarkets throughout Malaysia (AU2 Setiawangsa, Nilai, Melaka, Kota Bharu, Shah Alam), MARA headquarters building, Mydin Supermarket as well as major locations such as Pavilion KL, Mid Valley Megamall, Sunway Pyramid and KLCC.

The ceremony was officiated by Dato' Zulfikri bin Osman, Deputy Director General (Entrepreneurship) of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA).
