Nopparat Elephant Century
And our next destination is, Nopparat Elephant Century.
This elephant century consider the nearest to Patong. That's why hubs choose this one.
If u're coming to Thailand, elephant riding is a must activity.
And here, we gotta fed the elephants too...
But one thing, i have to mention here, people in Thailand, mostly, were quite harsh to these animals.
I really hate to see that! My last visit in Bangkok, i experienced the same thing as well.
Here in this elephant century, when we ride on the elephant, well, sometimes animals got lazy, they stopped, wanted to drink water and all, the people here hit them using a tool called scythe, it is like a blade or knife and will hurt the elephants till bleed.
So we asked him to stop hitting the elephant and he did.
If the animals are stubborn, at least, just use some stick or something, where's the need to hurt the elephants till they're all bleeding?! Huh!

(Kat China haritu pun satu hal! Kejam kat binatang... At least here in Malaysia they didnt do such things to animals, in fact from what i can see, in Malaysia all the animals keeper loves their animals like family, nak kasi kita pegang pun lokek, but i really dont mind cause the animals are in good hand...)
We're riding Aroi, the elephant... |
Feeding the baby elephant who's just a few years old. |
Tiger Kingdom
So, our next stop is the Tiger Kingdom, which just few miles away from the elephant place...
This place was quite small, u can finish walking in around 20 minutes or less...
But take your time, to watch the tigers and their behaviour.
Very cute sometimes... But of course, we, human, are still their foods.
:p
Behind us is Maya, the tiger... Yang depan tu, Maya Karin... |
Berjaga-jaga takut2 ada yang keluar... |
Bangla Night Market
And last but not least, we stopped by a market called Bangla Night Market to buy some tshirts and souvenirs cause they said it is cheaper here!...
