Last week, a press conference was held to announce a mega performance that brings together three Malaysian legendary singers : Dato Awie, Erra Fazira and Ziana Zain, in Sembilu The Reunion Live In Concert.
Sembilu, a movie which once a phenomena to the country's entertainment industry, will once again, bring the nostalgia, through Sembilu The Reunion Live In Concert, a mega performance that brings together three legendary Malaysian Singers: Dato Awie, Erra Fazira and Ziana Zain.
This nostalgic concert will take place on 7 February 2026, at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur starting at 8.30pm, and is expected to be one of the most anticipated entertainment events of 2026.

Sembilu The Reunion Live in Concert, gonna be a performance fill with memories. This concert will feature 22 iconic songs from the heyday of the movie, Sembilu, which was the first blockbuster film in Malaysia. This amazing movie established the names of these three stars in the entertainment industry. Each song chosen to bring the audience to recall the moments of emotion, conflict and love that once colored the film phenomenon.

Though this concert, every audience will have the opportunity to experience an extraordinary experience through large-scale stage decorations that present an atmosphere like being in a movie theater. The Organizer: IDEATELIER under Ezuwan Ismail
This special concert is organised by Ideatelier, a production company that is increasingly known for organising high-quality art events. Under the lead of the well-known fashion designer Ezuwan Ismail, this is their second concert following the success of Sammy Simorangkir's concert at Zepp Kuala Lumpur in December 2025.
He also emphasized that the objective of this concert was to bring together old and new fans in a large, energetic space to celebrate the nostalgia, vocals and storytelling of 90s music.

My Point of View
As a fan of Ziana Zain & Erra Fazira since I was a child, this concert is definitely a performance that I've been awaited for my whole life!
I watched Sembilu as a kid; and now when I rewatch it, I just totally amazed with everything in the movie, the emotions, the logics, the loves, parenting scenes, the sacrifices, and last but not least, the amazing music scores inside the movies... Without the songs, the movie might not touched your heart as much as it is.
So, I just really looking forward to be at the Sembilu The Reunion Live in Concert!
