Colour Pallettes for your Raya

Preparing for raya is not just shopping.
It's also includes matching.
Matching your outfits with le husband and kids; matching your handbag with your shoes; and match the colours of your outfit(s) with your tudungs, can be a difficult task too! ;p

I scroll thru the pinterest, and found some interesting and beautiful pallettes that can help us reduce the hassle of baju-tudung matching.

And here i listed some of my favourite combinations of colours and shades.

1. Red-earthy tones

Red is a very strong but beautiful colour.
If you wear red, toning it down with some earthy tone is the right choice.
Colours like beige or blush would be a perfect combo to red.

2. Turquoise-grayish

Turquoise is the new pink
It is not blue, it is not green either. It is something in between.
To get a more neutral looks, matching turquoise with gray is a perfect choice.
Not too much, and not too under. ;)

Well, i'm wearing gray this year, and maybe this combo would be perfect for me.

 3. Yellowish-Gray

I'm sorry that i mentioned too many gray in this post. Yeah it's because i'm wearing gray.

Ok well, yellow is a happy and vibrant color.
But to be more earthy, match it with beige or grey would be so nice!
I super love the combinations of yellow and beige/gray!

4. Shades of reds

When we mention red, there's so many red would come into mind.
Blood red, ruby red, maroon, warm red, dusty red etc.
But if you just layered some different shades of red, it will be enough.
And adding some base color like brown or black is perfect.

5. Shades of yellows

Here we go again, talking about yellow.
I love yellow actually. And my favourite is to match my yellow with beige-y colors.
But here, we can also layered our yellow with some goldish shade and light brown.
Of course adding some beige would be perfecto.

6. Pinkturqoise

If just now i mentioned turquoise is the new pink, now we gonna match the pink, and the new pink altogether!
It will be such a sweet combinations, every girls loves it.
It totally reminds me of total candy, or cupcakes, or unicorns, or anything sweet! ;p

7. Bold and brave

When u wear bold, wear bold seriously.
Match your red with some magenta, and to tone it down, add in some neutral brown into your style.

8. Pastel over pastel

One of my favourite shades.
Remind me of some marsmellow.
Colour blocking is nice sometimes, u just gotta match it correctly, and pastel over pastel is never wrong!

9. Blue

Blue is a difficult color (at least for me) and i hate to match it!
Matching blue with white can never go wrong. Match white or gray with blue, if u want to play it safe.
And if u want to take a step forward, match your blue with blush pink could be nice.

10. Neon & pastel

Pastel could always save the day!
Neon yellow with neon violet could be nice, but to save your style, adding some pastel would be allright.

11. Autumn colors

I love the colors of autumn.
If you're going to handbag stores during autumn, the colors displayed is always these mature colors.
Dark, and mysterious.

Mixing some dark green, with maroon; or some powder blue with brown would soothe every eyes that see you.

12. Peachy beige

Well, i'm saving the best for last.
This is my most favourite shades of all.
Peach, pink, soft brown, beige
U cant help it, these colors are so right, and too pretty!
