In 2026, Malaysian fashion designer Rico Rinaldi celebrates 19 years in the fashion industry, marking the milestone with the presentation of SUMMERAYA 2026, taking place on 24 January 2026 at Menara Ken, TTDI.

I'm so honoured to witnessed another amazing Raya collection by our very own Rico Rinaldi in the Summeraya 2026 Fashion Show, last Saturday.

Since its introduction, Summeraya has evolved beyond a seasonal festive collection to become a signature design identity for the brand. Known for its delicate use of floral elements, feminine silhouettes and refined detailing, Summeraya represents a balance between tradition and modernity as a language of design that continues to adapt while staying rooted in its core values.

Brighter, More Vibrant Colour Palette

For SUMMERAYA 2026, Rico Rinaldi presents a collection that reflects both confidence and evolution.

Featuring a brighter, fresher colour palette, the collection responds to changing consumer behaviour and the growing presence of Gen-Z audiences within the brand’s community. While embracing contemporary trends and modern marketing approaches, the collection remains firmly designer-led, retaining the craftsmanship and aesthetic integrity synonymous with the Rico Rinaldi name.

This year’s showcase features 70 looks, making it one of the most expansive Summeraya presentations to date. The collection includes both womenswear and menswear, with a strong focus on modernised traditional silhouettes, clean tailoring, and an increased number of shawl-styled designs, offering versatility and relevance for today’s Raya celebrations.

Comfort remains a defining principle of the collection. Fabrics are carefully selected to ensure they are lightweight, breathable and suitable for all-day wear, from the morning of Syawal through post- Raya gatherings.

Summeraya 2026 Price Range

SUMMERAYA 2026 is priced between RM239 and RM439, reinforcing Rico Rinaldi’s commitment to delivering accessible designer fashion from head to toe, spanning apparel, shawls, footwear and handbags without compromising on quality or design integrity.

“A lot of people think designer fashion has to be expensive or intimidating. With Rico Rinaldi, I want to show that designer pieces can be accessible, wearable, and still hold strong design value” says Rico Rinaldi.

Raya 2026 Handbag Collection

Complementing the runway looks, Rico Rinaldi also introduces a Raya 2026 handbag collection, designed with a minimal and versatile aesthetic, suitable for both festive mornings and everyday wear beyond the season.

Collaboration with Chef Kecik- Fashion & Culinary Artistry in Wearable Expression

One of the key highlights of SUMMERAYA 2026 is Rico Rinaldi’s first-ever collaboration with renowned local pastry brand Chef Kecik. Inspired by the croissant form, the handbag design is presented in five colour options, blending playful creativity with refined elegance a cross-disciplinary collaboration that brings together fashion and culinary artistry in a uniquely wearable expression.
