Hong Kong : Part 2 (The Peak, Madame Tussauds, Wan Chai)

Day 2 (08.03.2016)

The weather on that day wasn't quite cold, still around 15°C to 17°C ...
The itinerary of the day was all set!

As for today, we are going to The Peak.
So we walked to the Jordan Station to catch the MTR to Central station.

How to get there : 1. Take the MTR from Jordan Station to Central Station;
2. Take J2 exit;
3. Walk to the right, to a garden;
4. Walk up till u pass by the Bank of China;
5. Continue walking up and you'll easily see the Peak signboard...

Since in Malaysia, husband and I already done research (he did most of the research :p) regarding
what train to take,
which station to stop, which exit should we walk to, which road should we take etc.
So, it ease our journey!
Tu yang bapak mertua sayang tu :pp

Walking from our hotel to Jordan MTR station

The view after we exit the Central Station

Started to walk to The Peak Tram place...

The Peak Tram

As I mentioned in the previous post, we have bought the tickets for The Peak at the airport...
 so as we arrived, we straight away gotta ride the train...

We were lucky that we reached there quite early (around 10a,m.) and we do not have to line up at all...:)

MadameTussauds

Since we saw Madame Tussauds first as soon as we enter The Peak Tower, so I command suggest that we enter MT 1st!

Just like any other Madame Tussauds, same old celebrities, world leaders, artists etc ...
It just, in Hong Kong, there is additions of Hong Kong & Taiwan stars and there's also a section for Korean stars lovers, which, i don't know any of them!

He's a Taiwanese star... Used to watch his movie, Fated to Love You, loves that series so very much!

At the K-pop area...

The Peak Sky Terrace

Next, we headed to The Peak Sky Terrace...
This place is just for us to see the view of the entire Hong Kong, it's something like a lookup point...

We spent quite some times there, took photos, and resting our legs...

After that, we have a walk at the Peak Tower and had lunch there, the lunch that we brought from the hotel...
Nasi, kari ayam dalam tin, serunding & sambal bilis...
Bought some juice from Starbucks and had our lunch there! :)
takde la rasa bersalah sangat makan our nasi dekat situ...

And later we dropped by the Rock Shop to get some tshirts as well...

Last but not least, we bought some souvenirs for family and friends from the souvenir shops here 'cause according to many Malaysian tourists, the souvenirs here are among the cheapest!
And then we headed back to Central Station...

Can leave any notes here... Mostly love notes... :p

The view from up there...
We were not quite lucky as on that day the sky was covered with fog, so taknampak sangat building2 dekat belakang tu...
Buat2 nampak je...

Wan Chai

From Central Station, we took the train to Wan Chai 'cause we planned to solat and had dinner in Masjid Ammar ...

From Wan Chai station, we walked a lot sampai nak tercabut kaki, yet still can't find the masjid...
Been asking here and there but unable to find it...
Finally we found it and it almost maghrib, solat cepat2 and then we had dinner at the canteen there...

The view of Wan  Chai at night...

Star Ferry (Wan Chai - Tsim Sha Tsui)

From Wan Chai, we decided not to take the train to go back to Tsim Sha Shui, we took the Star Ferry instead,,,
Tell u what, it really really cheap, HKD 2 only...
We took the ferry from Wan Chai Ferry Pier to Tsim Sha Shui...

The Clock Tower

as soon as we reached Tsim Sha Shui, the Symphony of Light is going on, so everyone pun sibuk2 nak tengok...
Including me...
I didn't realize that the Clock Tower is only metres away from us ,..
Bila godak2 semula camera, i saw this selfie of my lil brother at the Clock Tower...

The Clock Tower

Reached Tsim Sha Shui and headed back to our hotel...
