Now lets enter another chapter of my wedding story

I didn't involved much on the groom's side...

However, of course, the WEDDING DRESS is super big thing for me, so I choosed the dress from the designer of my own choice 😌...

As per usual, being typical, boring and predictable me, i fell in love with the same kind of design, which was, layered dress, hihi... It was so in during that time, kan! so I pakai lah ahahaha!

My Wedding Story : Reception Overview

Early in the morning of the Reception day, I woke up (alone) and started to get ready, shower and all...

I must be ready by 10am + before the makeup artist arrived.

My makeup for today is done by Daniel from DD Bridal (the makeup is included in the package we took). By looking at my dress, he started to paint my face without I knowing what kind of look  he gonna do. I can't deny that at first i was quite afraid of the result of the makeup, i just built my confidence by looking at all the makeup brands they used. They were using Chanel, Nars etc. I totally underestimated them, when i saw the makeup, i couldn't be happier, for me, the makeup is really classy... Love the nude touch he did on my face.

On the other hand, Fiq from DD Bridal as well were helping Izzat to get ready with his sampin & tanjak and so on...

My mama insist that she will choose the door gifts and what can I say, being the only daughter... 

She was so happy, full of excitement!

I had hard time looking for these girls nd boy outfits...

I opt for white dresses with pink or peach detailing...

  ('cause Amni said she want to wear pink)

And finally i found the one in Wonder Tot in Sunway Pyramid...

And later when i walk around other malls, i found better options!

Grrr...

On Amni : White dress from Wonder Tot, pink flower hairband from Heart Attack, and her own shoes...

On Adni : Same as Amni

On Ikhwan : Suit from Wonder Tot & his own shoes...

My Wedding Story : The Reception's Dais

When we talked about the dais for the first time, i have nothing in mind, i just told him my theme for the reception is going to be champagne & pink

The dress for the reception is a simple piece, as well.

 I really favor just a simple dress 'cause i'm not only gonna wear the dress once, i'm gonna have to wear it again and again since i opt for customade dress...

After facing some problems with the first designer as i wrote here (click) , 

i had to find a replacement asap and the new designer must be trustworthy! 

My Wedding Story : The Nikah & Berinai Pelamin

The nikah and berinai dais was meant to be set up at my house since both the ceremony was to be held in my house...

Met the PIC and told him that i wanted purplish-blue themed pelamin, but it ended up to be purple-pink theme... Lucky that the pelamin looks nice so i let go my wants to have that blue purple themed thingy... Plus, the pink bright up the dais and matched my house's curtain as well~ 

My Wedding Story : Berinai Event Overview

Maybe most of u guys have no idea what this berinai is all about, in Johor... 

It is the night for the family menepung tawar and give their blessings, but actually this is the best time to bersalam-salaman and for the bride and groom to get to know each others family member!

Sebab, tak ramai orang, just family and closest friends...

In Johor particularly, we're always having this event for close family and friends, 'cause on the reception day it might be too busy with lots more crowd... 

So the night before the reception is the best time to get along and have this menepung tawar thingy within family...

We choosed to wear a very simple and classic songket for that night...

My Wedding Story : Ring hunting

Some times around yesterday, one of my friend texted me and ask things about wedding prep, making me eager to share more about my wedding and wedding prep here in my blog, again...

Have been skipped posting about my wedding for quite some times already...

Now is the good time to start again since the anniversary in approaching soon...

Yeah, i kinda took one year plus to finish posting about my wedding...

Now we shall go to the ring hunting part ♥...

My Wedding Story : Solemnization Ceremony Overview II

This is the continuation of the Solemnization Ceremony I ...

At around 3pm. The groom's family arrived (with the groom of course :p) 

I just peeked thru my room's window, i can see his family members, ramai sangat, but he is nowhere to be seen...

Erm, i'm quite nervous at that time, bukan nervous pasal i'm gonna get married! But i'm just wondering how he looks like today, all the baju yang we tempah sama2... and i thought "oh, so now is the time... Yeah after years of dating each other...arghhhh excited nyaaaa" (i know i sounds gedik)...

My Wedding Story : Solemnization Ceremony Overview I

That morning, woke up super early with the girls(who slept with me in the floor), and memulakan kerja2... had breakfast and then the girls mula ironed their clothes, and my clothes :p

Later around 10am+, the photographer came over to take the photos of my outfits, as i requested. 

And then, i started to get ready, nikah ceremony is going to be around 3pm, and the makeup artist gonna arrived anytime soon lepas zuhur. 

Kak Amy arrived and started to dolled up my face with just soft look...

When she asked nak pakai lipstick color apa, the girls bising "Pinkkk..." 

My Wedding Story : Pre Solemnization Ceremony

Days before the akad nikah, i was kinda settled down already, still in KL, working until Tuesday whereby my akad nikah day gonna fall on the Friday...

On the Monday still managed to meet up with the girls (mirrah, ezza and gee) and there you go the surprise bridal shower(click). 

Ezza and Gee asked me what i want for wedding present and since i haven't ordered any cake for hantaran yet, i just tell 'em to just find me a nice cake for hantaran, cause i was so malas nak cari, lagi2 dah last minute... At first they refused 'cause according to them the present must be be in material form that i can keep and be memorable, but at last they agreed... "kalau itu yang you nak.." It is memorable enough for me, 'cause i will always remember... While Mirrah gotten me a big tube of coffee body scrub and i'm lovin' it!

On the next next day (Wednesday), my back-then-fiance-now-husband sent me to KL Sentral for me to catch the train to Segamat, (i am going back with my lil brother to segamat but he not yet arrived) :p) and that was the last time Izzat and I were meeting and dating as, fiance... Being sweet, he also got me flowers and i stared at the flowers all the way to Segamat thinking that he will come over to Segamat in a couple of days so that we can, be, like, together, and, married, and that everything gonna be different after this! ;)

LOL ;p

Arriving my house in the hometown, i can see my house has turned out to be a busy and huge goodies factory... My neighbours and relatives were there, busy packing up the different components of souvenirs...

I had the pictures but too bad my old mobile phone was stolen last Ramadhan so now i dont have the picture :(

So that night i just tidy up my own room or soon to be bridal room... 

The next morning (Thursday), i woke up at a usual time (not extra early) and found that everyone has started to work. The merewang makciks were packing things, folding stuffs or cutting the veges in the kitchen; my parents were gone to the market, pakcik-pakcik that was hired to set up the balai outside my house also already started their work; and I, quickly took my shower since the pelamin guys gonna arrived soon! 

As expected, around 11am+, they arrived and started to set up the pelamin...

I'm trying not to be too fussy anymore since the big day is tomorrow, i prefer that everyone could do their job happily... However, after they're done, i still asked them to reduced the pink flowers and increased the number of purple 'cause that supposed to be my theme, in my mind...

Around noon, my uncle reached from KL, he's the one who brought all my dresses since i went back by train, remember? So excited to see the dresses my uncle! Besides, he also brought a lot of fresh flowers which he got from Petaling Street in the morning for my hantaran deco & room decor...! how can i not be excited?! :p

Later in the evening i feel that my house becoming more and more merrier! 

I just do my things and setting u my bedroom with the new bedsheet and the fresh flowers... 

At night the henna kakak came over to draw my hand and i waited for the henna to dry in the living room where only few of my relatives left, and the girls (Ezza, Mirrah, Gee, Syaliza and Nadiah) reached my house around midnight...

So glad to see 'em!!! 

My Wedding Story : The Henna Design

Regarding the henna, it comes as a package with the boutique that made my dais.

As i see many designs in the catalogue provided, i would only prefer a simple floral design...

i really love to keep everything simple...

My Wedding Story : The Nikah Dress

For the akad nikah, i opt for a very simple kurung moden. 

I met the designer of my choice first and then just started to go buy the fabric and laces.

My Wedding Story : Fabrics for bridesmaids

Started to do this fabric hunting activity for the bridesmaids on early 2015. 

I'm so scared that if i delayed this task, my girls wouldn't managed to turn the fabric into a dress on time! 

I didn't ask for their opinion on the color, at all! I just whatsapped them to ask whether they want shiny kind of fabric or non-shiny. Most of them answered shiny, so i bought satin, and most of them choosed tudung bawal, so that saves  my $$$! :) 

As i did mentioned before, i choosed purple(click)... 

This is the only purple that i managed to get for 7 people... 

I would prefer a softer shades of purple actually... 

But nevermind, the most importantly, they dressed the same(and i choosed the color) as i wished on my special day!

Bridal Shower ♥

Assalamualaikum and hello...

Like finally i gotta update a lil bit more about my journey to become a bride, daaaa~

Right after the bridal shower, went back to Segamat for my wedding, got married, came back to KL for work, groom's sides reception and then honeymoon, and then back to the office again...

 yeah, sounds busy.

So here is a long post regarding the bridal shower(with lots of pictures...) 

One fine evening, we were whatsapp-ing each other 'cause we kinda wanna meet up before my big day!
finally we decided to meet up the next day, very last minute...
but we dont mind as long as it is after office hour and the venue must be reachable.

So i suggested, somewhere KL central... 

My office is near the lrt station so i left my car nearby the station and just go to KL Central by train! 

The first person i met at kl central was Ezza... She was standing there with a guardian plastic bag, i didnt suspect anything at first, until, four of us met up, in Nu Central, and she started to peluk beg plastik guardian tu and i was like, minah ni dah kenapa... but since the plastic bag was kinda see through, so i saw something round like a balloon... i dah start perasan, gitu, tapi tak nak perasan sangat, if salah kang maluuuuu titew :p

So we borak-borak mak jemah while walking and discussing which restaurant to enter...

Panjanggg ceritanya, to make it short, we choosed The Gravy Factory, we loves their outdoor tables... 

Amazing view! 

The food were above average but not too good... But the view was splendid, for some unofficial photography sesh. 

So while we still eating, few staffs came over with a dessert plate, selempang like miss world, and a  balloon written "bride to be"...

I pun sipu-sipu sengih-sengih lah drama sikit...

And they crowned me with a pink tiara... :p 

I laju je pakai nak jadi princess kahkah...

And then, as usual, us with our camwhoring sesh, habis staffsThe Gravy Factory jadi photographer! 

Dah la tak bagi tips! :p Dapat 20% off lagi from the total bill 'cause we're using CIMB card to pay! 

These girls said it was a last minute plan but for me, it was perfect, a night to remember... 

(psttt) i never thought i'm gonna have a bridal shower though, i'm more more more than happy for what the girls did! 

I don't need presents, u girls are a precious gift to me (awww... membodek...), but thanks for the present, anyway! ♥♥♥

Anyway, thanks girls, ezza, mirrah, gee... i never thought i'm gonna have this moment of my own! 

Toooo happy! 

It true that i don't have any best friend(s), but what i have is, true friends with true hearts... 

I'm so glad that i met these true people in my journey of becoming an adult and may this r/ship workout till the end, even we're busy with our own life... 

their presence in my every single important events of my life means the world to me...  

 Nanti i belanja setarbucks sorang satu...

I pray for their best!

Final fitting of the reception dress

I was really looking forward my reception dress with this designer,
this is like a dream comes true!

The clock is ticking, i just realize the clock IS ACTUALLY ticking?! 

Today my fiance and i gotta go back to my hometown and settle few things! 

Psttt there's a wedding to be prepare... 

It just a day trip, i hope there's time  for me to take him to my favourite mee bandung place for dinner... i hope it open today~ 

Today is Sunday, i went to work yesterday, and i have to go to work tomorrow, what world is this?

Btw, i'm done with fitting 1 and fitting 2 of my nikah dress & reception dresses...

There're from different designers actually but i love both of them so so much! They made beautiful dresses, really! ♥♥♥

And, happy monthiversary again, izzat... i lost count how many months already~

Salam and hi all!
