Kebun-kebun, Bangsar : A Place You should Visit in the City

 Assalamualaikum & hi!!! 

Who would have thought that, in the very middle of the city, there is a hidden gem, surrounded by bungalow houses in the middle of Bangsar.

It is an urban garden/farm, filled with nature, beautiful scenery and indeed a perfect place for u and your family to have a short escape from the city.

Waka Waka @ Furama Hotel, KL

Salam, hi.

So, while I was attending the event at Furama last weekend, of course Rifqi and husband tagged along.

It's papa and son funtimes! 

Izzat, had fun babysitting (lol, i made up this one); while Rifqi enjoying his playtime at Waka Waka playland, which, also located at the LG floor of Furama Hotel.

What I love most about this playland is, it is so colorful with castle theme, and it is spacious!

Anddd, there's also a cafe inside the playground, this is a pluspoint, for, kids will get hungry easily and having snacks in between playing, is good to keep their energy full.

KL Tower Mini Zoo

Salam & hi!

 My son, Rifqi is an animal lover. 

Who doesnt know that? 

I mean, just look at us, once a month we'll go to such place, 'cause he'll mention, animals, garden, zoo or safari, for, he wants to see and interact with those animals.

We have cats at home, but cats are not enough for him, maybe... 

So we decided to take him to KL Tower Mini Zoo few weekends back, to satisfy his "craving" & to let him do his favourite activities.

Taman Rama-Rama & Reptilia, Melaka

Last few weeks, we were having our short vacay in Melaka, just few weeks before my parents and brother go to Mekah to perform haji. 

My parents decided to take their cucu kesayangan, Rifqi, to go somewhere.

So Rifqi sekarang ni senang, he said he doesn't want to go to the zoo, he wants garden.

Tu yang bawak pergi Taman Rama-rama. Sekali bila kereta lalu depan Zoo Melaka tu, "Iqi nak zoo, iqi nak zoo..." =.=

But we convinced him, "garden" is better! :p

Zoo Negara Malaysia

It was a sudden idea of my papa to take his grandson to the zoo, on the first day of 2019, last week.

We just go with the idea since Rifqi always asked his tokki to take him to the zoo zoo zoo...

'Cause he knew he'll get what he wants from his tokki =.=

So we reched the zoo in the afternoon.

Rifqi was still wide awake, and exciting to enter the zoo...

 (sabar je lah dia tunggu mama dia nak pergi toilet la, papa dia nak beli air lah :p)...

Animals Garden @ MAEPS

Eversince he knows how to talk, mulut nya tu menyebut zoo farm zoo farmmm je...

Tak habis-habis mengajak weols to the zoo and farms...

So husband and i always being efficient and fast, googling here and there, to look for new zoo or farm for Rifqi.

This time 'round, we headed to the Animals Garden which located at MAEPS Serdang, which is very near to our place.

And definitely, Rifqi enjoyed his weekend, more than ever! 

(And after MAEPS, i gotta drag my husband to Bangi Sentral, which i enjoyed so much, and had some me time shopping there, while husband and Rifqi stayed in the car, sleeping)...

Farm in the City, Seri Kembangan

Actually, Rifqi has shown his interest towards animals since he was little, like, even before he was one!

Be it wild animals, or little animals that we can touch, he loves it all!

Yeah, i bought a lot of materials like toys or books with animals in it, and he loves to watch things related to animals too.

But his passion and loves towards animals definitely come from himself!

And well now he is two years old, he can talk and tell us what he wants...

And he's been requesting us to take him to the farm... I dont know what kind of farm was in his mind, maybe something he watched from youtube(dont judge me, kids needs youtube too sometimes! :p)

So, hubs and I decided to take him to the Farm in the City, it is near to our house!

Short Getaway : KL, Berjaya Hill & Genting Highland

Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

 

 

We decided to take Rifqi for a short getaway, in KL, just for relaxing purpose, and coindcidently, we got free hotel in Genting Highland from a contest, so we went to Genting Highland as well! Weekend well spent! 

Husband booked Concorde Hotel KL as it was among the cheapest during that time...

And the staff was so nice, we got upgraded from a deluxe to a suite room! 

;)

Rifqi favourite part was definitely the swimming part.

Concorde is equipped with one adult pool and one children's pool. 

Just nice for a family time.

I had to go under the water too to accompany Rifqi and his papa =.=

This is why we decided to stay in a hotel with pool in KL first before heading to Genting.

So that Rifqi gotta swim on the Saturday evening and  the Sunday day morning after breakfast.

He was the happiest kid ever!

Weekend in Port Dickson

Salam. Hi...

You know, sometimes, i just lost my words and don't know what to write suddenly... 

Maybe because i'm always stucked watching Furchester Hotel and BabyTV a lil bit too much, that's the reason... 

So, my posts always not up to date, it delayed by a month or two normally... 

Pardon me for that! 

So here we are, PD last month! 

Rifqi's first time... My papa wanted to take his grandson for swimming...

Rifqi biasanya if we ask him "nak swimming swimming dekat hotel tak..." he will go "nak! nak!"...

Tu lah pasal nya...

It was a 3 days 2 nights trip... it was good to be back to Port Dickson after so long...

I always think PD is quite a boring place, but with a toddler along, it not that boring anymore...

Plus, some of my relatives joined in on our 2nd night, so makin bertambah2 meriah and Rifqi pun happy with more crowds!

The Regency Tanjung Tuan

It was an apartment... To be frank, we rarely stayed in an apartment, normally we prefer hotel.

But because this time we invited some of my uncles and aunties, so apartment lagi best lah!

We love the pool and the beach so much! The beach was so beautiful! 

Still can't get over it!

So on the first day, we just went swimming at the pool and the beach... and had dinner at one kuey teow place at night...

Short staycations in Melaka

 Melaka, Malaysia... Keeping so much memories of myself, and my family too (i'm pretty sure 'bout this! 'cause i was born in Melaka, mestilah my parents macam teruja kan dapat i sebagai anak diaorang :p i was such a cute baby back then... *flip hair)...

Thus, it was such a happy place for all of us... 

So much love and so much beautiful memories were captured, in Melaka... 

This time 'round, after Raya Haji celebration, from my hometown Segamat, my family decided to take their grandson for a short vacay, and after a few discussion, they've choosen Melaka...

I was excited as well cause this time 'round, Rifqi is one year old and sooo ready to explore things! 

I am so happy seeing him being so exciting about swimming pool and zoo!

Short trip to JB

Since we are attending a friend's wedding in JB, hubs book a room in JB so that we can spend the weekend there! 

However, we didn't plan a visit to the famous theme park like Legoland or Hello Kitty land, cause, hellooo, kitta tak boleh main la, rifqi nak duduk mana... :p

Unexpected roadtrip to Frasers Hills

The heading has made it clear, the roadtrip is unexpected, and lead us to the boring Fraser's Hill...

Its's my dad's sudden idea after having our breakfast at Putrajaya on a Sunday... 

Nothings change in Frasers's Hill...

The same old Fraser's Hill i went to when i was four, and eighteen, still the same...

Seram lagi ada...

Had a late lunch at The Pine's Resorts, not a happy meal, as well... Phew... 

However, it Rifqi's first time! yeayyy for that!

Short staycation in Cherating

Last week, after Izzat cousin's wedding at Temerloh, we had a short vacay in Cherating together with my parents...

The beach is beautiful, but all the resorts in Cherating are old enough to get some renovation...

My family loves Cherating so much when i was small and we went for holiday in Cherating so frequent, i've stayed at most of the hotel along the beach...

This time 'round, we stayed in The Legend Resorts and the room is in good condition (i guess they have upgraded the rooms)...

The best part is, it is Rifqi's 1st time going to the beach and dip his feet into the water!

I forced him to touch the sand using his feet, but he wasn't in the mood... same goes to the pool, he doesnt seems to like it, YET...

Terengganu, Malaysia

Well, my cuti is quite boring lar, kan... My brother's havin' exams, i habis cuti baru dier nak cuti, so x sama lar, so, x dpt lar pergi jalan2 ker, hihihi =pp

That's why weekend haritu, n bersamaan dgn cuti hari wesak, so we went for holiday, mula2 ingat kuantan, then up sikit, da sampai cherating, up sikit lagi, sampai terengganu terus...

And selingan sikit, tau tak our car buat hal odw there, da half way da okies! da sampai muadzam shah, kereta buat hal, hantar workshop n we went back home semula to take another car, which is my car my car ;) sbb nak back to that workshop bawa 2 kereta, so i drove one! ;) Best wooo, but bawa dekat jalan satu lane challenging wuhh! Best, n papa was behind me, so dgn confidentnyer, i potong kereta depan i, habis jer potong, immediately report sampai kan, terus papa call mama suruh cakap dkt i mcm ni3x kan(coz mama teman i), huish~ Tapi seriously, highway segamat-kuantan, jangan pandang ringan lar, tepi jalan berderet2 accidents... It hard to drive there, x macam highway kat KL ea!

Okies, so first day stay dekat Primula K.Terengganu, sampai da pukul 11pm+, have a late dinner at their coffee house there... The foods was okay2, not perfect!

i only had sandwiches... tried to cut down some weight, lol...

Then 2nd day, we went to Taman Tamadun Islam, located dekat2 dgn Masjid Kristal Terengganu tu, masjid tu, mmg cantik... N Taman Tamadun Islam tu, mmg menambah ilmu pengetahuan am (ececeh)... ;p 

And then the main reason we went to Terengganu sebenarnya to buy our baju raya, fyi, mama & papa mmg suker sgt sutera & songket terengganu i dont really know what's so special bout it... But yeah, mmg lar special kotz, hehehe... So, beli dekat kedai turun-temurun kami, since i was small beli kat situ, Atikah Songket...

 N during the 2nd day, we stay at Awana Kijal, Kemaman, i yg nak sangat2, coz i love chinese foods here! So, dinner chinese foods lar kan @ Little Canton, Awana! ;)

3rd day which is today, swimming kejap pagi2(not really pagi, 11 lebih) imagine how dark i am coz i forgot to apply sunblock (terhebat kan!), and having my breakfast sekali while swimming (coz pagi2 x mau bgn so x ikut my family go breakfast best =p but basically because i want to control my food intake, ececeh)... So, around 1pm check out lar kan! Then teruskan perjalanan, n masa sampai dungun tu, jumpa gerai buah-buahan, n beli berbagai2 jenis buah, n berhenti makan durian siap
