I'm a foodie and my favourite cuisine is definitely, Asian Cuisine!
Thai cuisine is one of them!
Thinking of Thai food, tomyam definitely will cross your mind!
Imagine, spicy, sour, and aromatic tomyam soup, with lots of fresh ingredients such as seafood, chicken meat, mushrooms and various veggies all in one hot pot!
How can you not love Tomyam!
Today, I'm gonna bring you guys, to one hidden spot, in Taman Maluri Cheras, specially for Tomyam lovers!
Maluri Tomyam
Maluri Tomyam is located at the shoplot, in Jalan Jejaka 9, Taman Maluri Cheras.
It is not hard to find Maluri Tomyam as the signboard is big enough to be seen!
Why did I end up at this restaurant?
Oh, I was inside the car, with my husband and Rifqi, looking for food, and we happen to crave for Tomyam, so tengah drive cari Kedah Tomyam lah, area Maluri, and we found this restaurant, crowded with people! It was 5pm something, so we decided to gave it a try!
The Ambience
Simple restaurant with normal environment.
But the restaurant is quite spacious, so if u guys wanna come with family, u can!
But if you guys wanna come in a really big group, I would suggest u guys book your spots in advance!
The Menu and the Prices
The menu varies from "goreng-goreng", lauk-lauk Thai, sides and there are huge selections of drinks too!!!
The Food
Flipping thru the menu, I've been eyeing on their Ikan Bakar Sambal Santan Kuning. It is their speciality! And I was so eager to try because the menu is different from any other Tomyam restaurant in KL!
On the other hand, my husband insist to order the Daging Bakar with Air Asam...
And Tomyam is a must!!!
As for Rifqi, we ordered Nasi Goreng Seafood taknak pedas ('cause that's his favourite)!
As for drinks, we ordered:
Teh Cincau (husband)
Limau Asam Boi (mine)
Mangga Susu (Rifqi's)

The Ikan Bakar Sambal Santan Kuning was really good.
It comes with two choices of dips: Air Asam & Cili Kicap.
I prefer the cili kicap, eventho dipping the fish with Air Asam was also not bad!
But cili potong with kicap is more my thang! 😆
And the akan bakar was served with Ulam-ulaman like, cucumber, some lettuce, tomatoes & Selom Leaf (Daun Selom)- my favourite!
Just wanna say, it was really delicious!

Next, Tomyam Campur.
Full of flavour! and look at the broth! Very thick and creamy!
Fyi, we were provided with Tomyam Soup with proteins such as chicken and seafoods; while as for the veggies like mushrooms, they were provided at the side, so we have to insert the mushrooms, cilantro, lime juice, and chilli flakes by ourselves!

Daging Bakar Air Asam is another menu that I wanna highlight!
So yummy and delicious!!!
Not too spicy, just nice! And suitable for kids too!
