Salam and hi people!
In this post, I want to share with u, about an eatery that i've tried last weekend. And I'm quite excited actually to spread the news about this humble eatery!
Located in the middle of KL City, there is a foodcourt called Monster in Kampung Baru, and inside this foodcourt, there's a stall selling authentic Chinese dishes, which are halal, original recipe & served really nice noodles and dumplings!
The Opsroom Kitchen menus have really captured our heart.
The Dishes
We managed to tried out their 3 signature dishes which are : Hokkien Prawn Mee, Chicken Hor Fun, and Dumpling Set.
We love ALL the dishes here, no kidding!
At first, we only ordered one bowl of Chicken Hor Fun for me to share with Rifqi, but as Rifqi started to eat it, he refused to share with me. What to do, i have to order another bowl for myself.
Eventhough Rifqi can't finished his noodles, but he ate quite a huge portion!
The Chicken Hor Fun is my favourite. I really love the taste of the broth.
The usage of prawn stock really made the broth the star of this dish!
This noodle soup also served with Dumpling, shreded chicken, Park Choi and huge sizes shrimps.
Hokkien Prawn Mee, is the star of this eatery.
The original recipe from Penang used by the chef is really hard to beat!
I love the spicy + thick gravy of this prawn noodles. It is so delisious!
The Dumpling Set was really really nice too! I love how they're prepared, where it was first boil in the water and being pan fried, after.

The price
Tell u the truth, u'll never find such authentic Chinese Foods with such cheap price!
Each menu won't cost u more than RM10!!!
And u gotta consider the portion and the huge sizes shrimps in the noodles, too!
The Ambience
It is located in a foodcourt.
For me, it was such a lovely night with family, under the moonlight, with some street musician performing, plus, the nice foods!
The foodcourt is a comfortable kind of foodcourt where u can sit for hours.
Rifqi really dis enjoy his Hor Fun |
And Izzat, enjoyed his Prawn Mee. |
