Seoul : Part 2 (Kervan Turkish Bakery, Seoul Central Mosque, Namsan Tower, Myeongdong)

17/03/2017 (Day 2)

Itaewon

No specific plan in the morning…

So after we had our breakfast in the hotel room, we decided to walk around Itaewon…

As I mentioned before,  I really love the environment here…

After peeks through all the shops, we spot a Turkish snacks shop and we decided to enter…

Bought quite a number of pastries from the Kervan Turkish bakery

Biasa lah, sorang tunjuk tu sorang tunjuk ni, so jadi lah banyak…

I love their Turkish delights so much!!!!

And then, we started to look for the Seoul Central Mosque since today is Friday, and the guys need to go for Friday prayer...

Walking up the hill, we discover so many halal restaurants and grocery stores as well!
(Habis my papa borong makanan tin perisa arab pulaks...)
And now we know where to have our dinner for the next day!
And the Seoul Central Mosque was found...
Then, they sent me, rifqi & mama back to hotel and they went for their prayer...

Turkish delight-ing while walking...

Rifqi's naughty face

Seoul Central Mosque

Lunch from Mr Kebab

They bought kebab from Mr Kebab for our lunch... Delish!!!
They're lamb kebab, chicken kebab or mixed kebab(chicken + lamb) and the price ranging from 6000won to 10000won...

Namsan Seoul Tower

How to get there :

We were using subway.

1. Itaewon station to Chungmuro station.
2. And as we reached, we ask people around which path to walk to Namsan Tower.
(we can actually see Namsan Tower from every angle once we got out from the subway station itself)

Ok now kita dah sampai bawah bukit Namsan Tower.
While untuk sampai ke Namsan Tower itself, There are few ways for us to get there...
First, by bus; 2nd, by cable car; and 3rd, walking (which, is, impossible).

Tips : For cable car, we have to buy tickets, while if we're taking bus, we can just use T Money.

We used the 2nd method to go up, we only took one way ticket.
And untuk turun from Namsan Tower, we took the bus.

Admission fees : Cable car - 6000won (one way)
8500won (return)

All set! Stamina ready nak panjat bukit ke cable car N Seoul Tower

My baby was asleep while we hike towards N Seoul Tower

Sekali-sekali nak bergambo tempat unik-unik :p Ingat I tak hipstor?

N Seoul Tower Cable Car Station

Found padlock at Namsan Tower setelah berjalan beberapa km dari cable car. And my son is kissing me sebab dah penat dukung dia...

Rifqi nak tulis nama awek Rifqi pa, pleaseee...

Mother's love is unlimited and never fades.

And now i'm a mother; and now i know how it feels...

One gambar romantic berlatar belakang kan Namsan Tower.

Tok ki was trying hard untuk memastikan model tak jatuh... Model steady je...

Rifqi takes Seoul...

This padlock is right under the tower and not far from the souvenir shops...

Namsan Tower Seoul Observatory Deck

Admission ticket : 10000won
Nothing much up there (untuk orang yang tak pandai menikmati macam i) :p
We can see the view of Seoul from up there! Beautiful...
And many of the tourists were waiting for sunset

Tips : Pergi toilet dia, cantikkk :p

Bought popcorn up there for 5000won if i'm not mistaken...biasalah sejuk2 sentiasa lapo...

View of Seoul ke mana, sunset ke mana, habuk pun takde, apa punya cameraman! :p

Bye N Seoul Tower, till we meet again

Myeongdong

Yeayyy favourite activity, shopping!!!
Myeongdong memang famous dengan pasar malam nye!
And besides, there're also a lot a lot of local & international brands here!!!
I bought Skinfood & Inisfree from here (wait for my products haul entry soon! So excited to share )...

Also bought a phone case for 15000won... Biasalah mula2 tak reti kira... :p
Ingat murah sangat :p it a very simple plastic casing with some stones... So, memang tak berbaloi... but my dad always insist me to buy when we're travelling, cause we ARE travelling...

The cheapest things to buy here is, socks... A lot of cute socks for only 1000won!!!
We also bought souvenirs like t-shirts from this market, cause senang, tak payah fikir2 lagi nanti...
Tshirts cost around 10000won each...
Yeah stuffs in Korea is not cheap actually...
Myeongdong Street

I'm in love with this place... biasalah tempat shopping... dengan bangi central pun i'm in love :p

I'm happy we're here together!

u too, sayang!

Siti Sarah

For dinner, we headed back to Itaewon, and climb up the hill, the area near the mosque with lots of halal foods...
Not so many restaurant still open that time, it 9 or 10 something at night and it is late in Korea...
They  had their dinner early i think...

We entered Siti Sarah restaurant thinking that it is an Indonesian restaurant...
Sangkaan meleset when some Bangla like guy took our order... Pakistan kot, bukan bangla, handsome jugak tapi agak bangang when he asked us to tidy the table ourself, memang cari jalan nak kena marah ...
While the cook, was also a pakistan guy... He's also the boss i guess...

This restaurant served Indonesian foods and some Korean foods...
And ada bendera malaysia kat luar kedai macam hari merdeka...

So, my family ate rice with ikan bakar, ayam bakar (10000won each set) etc. They're a lot!
While i insist to order Korean food... mengidam sangat...
Ordered bibimbap and got this, nasi goreng, sedap jugak! Lantak lah nama kau bimbimbap ke tak...
