Selangor Youth Community (SAY), in collaboration with Albukhary Foundation and Selangor Football Club (SFC), hosted a prestigious charity golf tournament on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club graced by His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda of Selangor and royal patron of SAY.

A Tournament to Support TEAM Programme Malaysia
This 2025 tournament not only celebrates the sport of golf but also highlights the power of collective
goodwill.
Golfers of all skill levels came together for a meaningful cause: supporting TEAM Programme Malaysia.
This initiative, in partnership with The King’s Trust International, a non-profit organisation under the patronage of His Majesty King Charles III, is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk Malaysian youth.

TEAM Programme Malaysia Supports Struggles Young Individuals
Through education, mentorship, and empowerment, TEAM Programme Malaysia has impacted over 500 young individuals over the past five years, offering vital support to young offenders, care leavers, NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), and those struggling with substance abuse. The programme aims to reach another 150-200 young people in the coming year, providing ongoing assistance through a structured six-month post-progression phase.

Not Just a Tournament, An Inspiration For Better Tomorrow
The tournament, hosted and graced by His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, featured a day filled with thrilling golfing action and a heartfelt commitment to making a difference in the lives of young Malaysians. With 132 players ranging from both government and private companies, the players and guests enjoyed an unforgettable experience on the pristine greens of Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, and their contributions will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of TEAM Programme Malaysia.
As we strive to unlock the potential of these youth, we also aim to inspire positive change within the community and society as a whole. The event was an opportunity for all attendees to actively participate in shaping a better tomorrow, one young life at a time.
