Farm in the City, Seri Kembangan

Actually, Rifqi has shown his interest towards animals since he was little, like, even before he was one!
Be it wild animals, or little animals that we can touch, he loves it all!

Yeah, i bought a lot of materials like toys or books with animals in it, and he loves to watch things related to animals too.
But his passion and loves towards animals definitely come from himself!

And well now he is two years old, he can talk and tell us what he wants...
And he's been requesting us to take him to the farm... I dont know what kind of farm was in his mind, maybe something he watched from youtube(dont judge me, kids needs youtube too sometimes! :p)
So, hubs and I decided to take him to the Farm in the City, it is near to our house!

Farm in the City

Ticket price : RM37 (Malaysian adult)
RM30 (Children)
However, kids height 90cm and below will not be charged.
So, our Rifqi turned out to be less than 90cm, in our own measurement! ;p Lol.

The place was surprisingly, beautiful, and worth it!

First, we entered a place called exhibition hall.
We can see a few birds here, some reptiles, and very cute otters!
The otters even put on some show for us! Too Cute!

Birds and chicken cages

And then we enter another station which contains owls, and...  and... sorry i cant remember!
And entering another door, there were chicken, ducks, turkey, peacock etc.
Rifqi loves the place! He even call the peacock as ostrich! :p

Fish/duck/swan feeding

After that, we decided to feed the fishes, the swans and the ducks first.
We had to buy the pallet fish food form the machine, RM1 per packet!
The machine is available at the places where we can actually feed the animals with pallet.
We spent quite a lot of times here!

Rabbit feeding

Our next stop was, the rabbit place.
We can actually touch, hold and feed the rabbit there!
There were also guinea pigs in there!
But, we only play with the rabbits!

While on the outside of the rabbit place, we can longkang fishing there, where, the place many small fishes and we can catch them using the net provided.
No picture of longkang fishing as we were too busy trying to catch the fishes, which, leads to dissapointment! :p

Savannah

When we arrived here, it was slightly raining, so we didnt spent much time here!
We can see deers, llama, goats, sheeps and those species in here!

Tortoise feeding

We continue walking into a large bird cage which contains many beautiful birds.

And finally, not far from the exit, there were tortoise, not the small small one, they are atok2 tortoise in here!
And Rifqi gotta feed the tortoise as well!

Horses and poneys

We only managed to visits the horses.
Poney ride is a no no for Rifqi, cause he was still small.

Racoon feeding

And before we leave the place, we fed the racoon, since nobody were there during that time!
So the racoons can totally focused on us! :p

Rifqi seems exited, but he was quite afraid of the racoon actually.
So i have to feed these creature cause they were seems so hungry!
We kept on buying the pallet from the machine cause the racoons there were too demanding!
But they are too cute, and i love them!!!

In conclusion, Farm in the City is a great geataway for parents with kids.
At least we can run away from the norm of going to the mall on weekends.
