Pattaya : Day 2 (Sunset Coffee Roaster & Pattaya Nong Nooch Botanical Garden)

23/1/2025 (Thursday)

During the 2nd day, early in the morning, we're up early, tetiba jadi early risers, as we're so excited to explore Pattaya...

We had our breakfast in our room, we're having cereals, halal bread (from 7-Eleven), and all sorts of snacks we brought (and bought from 7E).

To be frank, it is not hard to get halal food from Pattaya, Thailand; but it is not as easy, too...
But since we were to start our day early, we just grab breakfast in our hotel room!

Our PLANNED destination for the day was Nong Nooch Botanical Garden, and we gonna get there, by grab!
But, on the way to Nong Nooch, we saw the Tiger Park & Floating Market were on the same route so in our mind we decided to just go whichever we managed to, after finish with Nong Nooch...

Haaa ni nak cerita ni, most of the grab we got here, in Pattaya, semuanya EV, so cool!
Sungguhpun kat Malaysia tak mampu, kat sini naik EV je aku 😂

Sunset Coffee Roaster, Pattaya Beach Rd

Eventho we had our breakfast in our hotel earlier, we still need our coffee shots.
So as we stroll along the beach side road, our eyes wandered around to look for the perfect coffee place.
The criteria of the coffee place we looked for, definitely, a place that sells only coffee/tea.

And we found Sunset Coffee Roaster.
A little cafe along the road.

So we just grabbed our drinks, before order our grab car.

Nong Nooch Botanical Garden, Pattaya

The distance from Beach Rd Pattaya to Nong Nooch Botanical Garden is around 23km, and the journey took us around 40 minutes.

Finally, we reached Nong Nooch. reached there quite early, among the earliest batch I think...

I've been to Nong Nooch before, around 10 years ago, (read here) and being here again, I am very impressed with this attraction. The facilities has improved a lot, the whole experience I had here this time, was great.
Basically no waiting time. The seats for the shows are plenty. Buggy waiting time was also almost null.

The garden basically featured many2 types of plants. Very well taken care off.

I was amused with the orchid garden there. Aww so beautiful.
Pulak tu, they also put effect asap2 kat dalam tu... Ala2 taman kayangan haaaa ko!

And another beautiful set up is inside their cactus valley...

Once we got inside Nong Nooch Botanical Garden, we straight away went for the shows.

After we're done with all the shows, we took the mini tram and explore the whole garden.
The driver will stopped by a few checkpoints and once u're done, u can just hop on to any of the tram available at the checkpoint to the next checkpoint...

1. Cultural Show - Where we were entertained with Thai Traditional Dance shows, several kinds of dances, they also includes elephants for these shows. Very interesting!
We were seated in an auditorium (very big).

2. Elephant Show- As for the elephant shows, they are more focused on the shows by the elephants such as elephant playing balls, painting, dancing, and many more... They were well trained and so cute!
The audiences were also allowed to interact with the elephants inside the hall.
U just gotta prepare some tips for the elephants (and tuan dia. kalo ko tak bagi, tuan dia mintak tau!)

3. Nongnooch Beautiful GardenNongnooch Pattaya Garden is one of the most important gardens in the World having collected and grown more than 18,000 plants. Nong Nooch Beautiful Garden is segregated into several sections. And although we were not managed to visit all, but we did set foot to most of the garden including Orchid Garden. So beautiful!

Look how beautiful the orchid garden is!

4. Noong Nooch Dinosaur Valley - At Dinosaur Valley, visitors can see many species of moulded dinosaurs, along with many species of cactuses.

And last but not least, we also gotta interact with the elephants before going back. I bought some bananas to feed the elephants, and dapat lah tangkap gambar.
Not to forget, prepare tips in terms of $$$ for tuan elephant also ya, tak payah nak mengelak, sebab kalau ko tak bagi, dia mintak! 😂

And as the weather of the day was so hot, there were a lots of juices sold there.
We chose mango as mango in Thailand is always the best!

Halal Food

Last but not least, if you're wondering, yes, there is a halal stall (Arabic Food) near the exit of Nong Nooch Botanical Gardens, so do not worry about your lunch if you're muslim, like me!
