Pokok KL @ Mahsa University

Oh yes, we're just trendy liddat! :p
Whenever there're new cafes in town, my husband and I would be so eager to try!

Looking at a Halal Cafes Lists in the google, we decided to try out Pokok.KL since our location during that time was quite near to PJ.

When we arrived at that place, we realized we have to line up first for our seats.
We went on a Saturday, so we already expects a numbers of crowd.
Plus, the cafe's space was quite limited, that's what makes people wanna come evenmore doesnt it!

So while waiting for our seats, we just enjoyed the place and take some photos outside the beautiful, instaworthy cafe.

The Ambience

This place is definitely a beautiful place. The ambience is nice and comfortable, with a see thru roof above our head.
Plus, the weather during that day was not too hot.

Eventhough there were many people and the seats were quite close to each other, but the place wasnt too noisy and quite comfortable.

This photo is worst. Siap ada bayang2 orang kat dalam...

The Foods

Actually, the foods were quite good.
My husband's Carbonara is the highlight. It was very delicious.

My pesto on the other hand, was quite salty.
But still, nice... I love it!

And Rifqi's mushroom soup was very thick, and very rich. But Rifqi doesnt like it so much.
He prefer lighter kind of soup maybe...

And lastly, the gelato.
I love it!!! Less sweet and rich!

Chilli Padi Pesto Pasta with Chicken Breast RM25

Carbonara Pasta RM28

Truffle Mushroom Soup RM15

Rifqi with his Gelato (Chocolate flavours) R11.90

The Service

First when we arrived, i think the service is superb.
The staff at the front door, a Chinese lady, very quick, efficient in serving the customers.
That's why there's no long queue at the door, evethough there were quite a numbers of customers.

And everything's going fine, until, after around one hour, my husband and Rifqi already done eating, and I was starving waiting for my Pesto.
Husband called the staffs for quite a few times but no pasta came to the table.
It only came after one hour.

Maybe it was my bad luck after all.

Anyway, i had quite a good times here!
Dont hesitate to try out Pokok KL!
