Ho Chi Minh City : 2017

Salam... Hello HCM City... We meet again!
The last time i went was in 2013, it was only 4 years apart...
HCMC had not changed much...  still the old city... but the best thing is, there are more halal restaurant here now, especially at the Ben Thanh Market area...

 09/02/2017 (Thurs)
Mekong River

Early in the morning, our tour guide has waited for us, and our 1st destination in HCMC is Mekong River
Cruise...
Nothing changes from the last time, except for the crowd...
The place has becoming sooo crowded, and hot... The Mekong Delta is full of people and the traffic was quite slow in there :p
Just, look at the picture from my 2013(click) visit & this year's visit...!

I have Rifqi (and his papa) this time!!!

My in laws family!

Mekong Delta

Was served with coconut drinks on the way back!

Hajah Basiroh Restaurant

This place, has changed so much! This is the only major changes of HCMC...
I used to love to dine at Basiroh last time, and my favourite was Pho or Beef Noodles as they'll give us a whole lot of basil leaves!!!
This time, it still the same, but the taste of the Pho :( Maybe tukar tukang masak kot... Sedap but not memorable!

Beef Noodles or Pho

And Popia udang kinda thing...

Pasar Malam

The best place to shop for souvenirs...
Souvenirs in Vietnam are damn cheap... Gosh, i love to shop here!!!
Bought few seluar getah2 tu & tshirts...

10/02/2017 (Friday)

No plan for today... So just decided to go to Ben Thanh Market after all the men get back from Friday Prayer...

Ben Thanh Market
Shopping heavens for ladies!!!
We can get everything here! Laces, Vietnam silk, cotton etc.!
Bought quite a lot, of course...

Look at thoseeee laces....

Rifqi boring...

Musa Karem halal restaurant

Had lunch here with my hubs & Rifqi...
Both of us ordered Nasi Goreng...
Quite pricey for a simple nasi goreng...

Tips : Out of all restaurants, Kedai Makan Halal Amin is the cheapest & the Pho is delicious!!!

11/02/2017
Cu Chi Tunnel

Well, Cu Chi Tunnel is Cu Chi Tunnel... It a historical place so be prepared, to walk thru the history...

Central Post Office

This is also a historical place build by the France, if i'm not mistaken...
This place also had changed a bit from my last visit... :( It becoming so crowded inside with people selling things...

We fly home the next day...

p/s : We flied with Vietnam Airlines this time, but as a tips, i would not recommend Muslim to fly with this airlines 'cause they did not prepare Muslim Foods (eventhough we have mentioned when we booked our tix), anddd they did not provide baby basinet as according to them, this is short flight... So, not recommended!
